Attempted Methods of Killing Bond:
- tying him up and torturing him in hopes of retrieving information and access to the money that Bond won by beating him in a poker tournament.
- ordering his girlfriend Valenka to try to poison him during the poker game
How He is Dispatched:
- shot in the head by Mr. White for betrayal
Evil Scheme:
- planning to invest Obanno's money in an airline stock and short the stock by destroying the company's new airliner. Bond finds out about this plan and puts an end to it.
- he then attempts to win the money he lost on his previous investment in a poker tournament.
How Plans Were Foiled:
- Bond is sent to the tournament to ensure that Le Chfifre loses and is forced to turn to MI6 for protection in exchange for information. When Le Chiffre tries to enact his revenge at Bond and Vesper, Mr. White arrives and shoots Le Chiffre, Valenka, and Kratt dead.
