Definitely a NO! That would destroy the whole Bond-universe! Craig is already "a step too far", but you have become accustomed to his look. But I cannot imagine a black Bond - James Bond is white!

It seems the more Bond films veer from some of the traditions of the past the more they open speculation on further changes.
A black Bond? I struggle seeing Fox in the role. If the producers really wanted to pull this off I think they'd have to a) go with someone less known and b) find a brit. I can't see a yank pulling this off. Of course a lot of people freaked out about a blond bond (Craig) so I can see this speculation (IMO) setting a few folks off.

A black Bond? I'm not racist or anything, but.... What? Bond is not black. He never will be. How can little mr. Hancock or Sir Rodey from Iron Man outcast the one and only Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnam? I'm sure Pierce has to do more couple Mamma Mia movies, but he was the 2nd best bond. An Sean, he is retired, as he is some kind of mummy and all, but black> I love Obama, but..............D'oh!

As a an African-American I would love to see a Black Bond but it should not be Foxx! I love Jamie but it just wouldn't be right. My choice is Idris Elba! He's tall, dark and handsome and he is a Brit! Case closed!

It is no that I have a problem with a black bond, it is just that the classic stereotype of james bond has been a white, black haired British spy and I do not think any black person might be accepted as james bond unless they devilver an excellent performance. The same thing went with Daniel Craig when he played a blond bond.

Not that I am racist or anything but I am not sure if I would like to see a black Bond. It would be very different. Its is weird enough that actors change in the Bond franchise but make his ethnicity different? I dont know. If Bond were to be black, however, I dont think I would choose Jaime Foxx. I would probably go for Denzel Washington or Will Smith.

I really don't think a black bond would go over too well. At least make it some one from the British Isles and not an American!
True Daniel Craig has lighter hair than Bond is supposed to but I think this would go a bit too far. I think this is too far a deviation from the character. Just an opinion, sorry Jaime
