I was kust on Wikipedia, and it said that EON wants to cast Woody Allen as the main villain in Bond 23. I looked him up, and there are 2 things wrong with him, he does not look at all villainous, and he's too old. Those glasses would just defeat the villainous purpose! Plus, all his movies are fuddy-duddy.

The coat that Mr. White wore in ”Casino Royale” in the set where he shot and killed fellow villain Le Chiffre is now for sale in support of a charity supporting the homeless on www.lauritz.com/Default.aspx?LanguageId=2 Auction closes on 20 November.
Actor Jesper Christiansen alias Mr. White has donated the coat to a Christian charity that provides food, clothes and shelter for the homeless and socially vulnerable people in his hometown, Copenhagen. He says: “I am familiar with the work that this charity carries out as the organisation helps the most vulnerable people in society and it is my intention to support this work by putting Mr. White’s coat for sale.” The coat is black, size 50 (large) and tailored by Bugatti. It is as good as new – without bullet holes. The coat will be sold with a post-it note signed by Jesper Christiansen, text: ‘ hereby certify that I wore this coat in “Casino Royale” when I (Mr. White) shot Le Chiffre alias Mads Mikkelsen, Jesper Christensen (alias Mr. White) ‘ For further information, please contact Poul Struve Nielsen, +45 41 62 55 52, Kirkens Korshær, Nikolaj Plads 15, 1067 København K. |

Posting as a thread so as not to spam the whole community with a regional announcement:
Anyone in the Seattle area take note: As part of their celebration of the 90th anniversary of United Artists, the Seattle International Film Festival will be screening a Double-0 double-feature -- Dr. No and Goldfinger -- on Sunday, May 18, at McCaw Hall at Seattle Center. Dr. No screens at 2 and 6; Goldfinger at 4 and 8. Both are new 35mm prints. More info here: http://www.siff.net/events/detail.aspx?FID=108 I for one plan to be there! Especially since I wasn't old enough to see Miss French, Miss Ryder, Miss Masterson, and Miss Galore on the big screen their first time around!
