There ya go, i would like to see the Walther wa2000 make an appearance. Its a beautiful gun and I believe only about 15 of them are in the US (and the Walther president owns most of those) or a dragunov, seems more like something Bond would aquire

How did that happen anyway? I understand the selling of the Casino Royale rights since that happened before the franchise took off but it seems odd to have competing rights over Thunderball over a decade after the original movie had been made.

I think DaD should have been entirely set in North Korea. About a remake, it would be just pointless. Craig doesn't fit campy stuff not far fetched plots. Remakes are the least clever sort of imagination. Let's see the Quantum organization's potential."

Exactly, my friend, the QUANTUM organization is the perfect set-up for the Craig era as SPECTRE was for the Connery era. That was great then (still is!), this is great now. But we don't need to re-do older films as there is far too much of that happening in the movie business in general at the moment.
People who want the same kind of Bond in every movie seem to be missing the point that by trying something a little more unconventional than usual the series stays relevant. Many of the pre-Casino Royale Bond films tried to emulate GF and TB and this approach was becoming increasingly criticized by DAD.
By getting back closer to the original Fleming, more traditional vision of Bond the 2 last movies (more CR) have reinvigorated the series with something that already works and does not need to include remakes of older movies. QUANTUM is the way to go! Success of CR and QoS proves that. :]
