Barry Nelson was the first Bond on TV. I'll add that info later. David Niven was Fleming's choice to be Bond, but did not play him until after Fleming's death, and then only in a parody movie (never TV): Casino Royale.

for sure. I'm new to the whole James Bond thing (I'll sadly admit that before Casino Royale the only Bond film I'd seen was a Timothy Dalton one), but Daniel Craig had me at hello. Whoa. More, please!
