The cinematic
James Bond is the result of the hard work of a number of different people behind the camera. While the actors — from
Connery to
Craig — get all the accolades for their portrayals of Bond, the
directors play a significant role in guiding the actors through their paces. The
producers are responsible for the overall vision of the character and making sure that the film makes it to the screen. The art directors are responsible for placing Bond in a setting that's both exciting and visually appealing through the design of the various
sets that the movies are filmed on, as well as choosing appropriate
locations. Without the quality production staffs that have been the hallmark of the
Bond films, Bond, as we know him, would be limited to just words on a page. Creating a Bond film requires the collaboration of hundreds of engaged, passionate people, all working together to bring us new adventures of our favorite super-spy.
The purpose of this section of the wiki is to chronicle the people who have been responsible for the production of the James Bond film series. From the producers to the art directors, you'll find them and their work here.
