Dalton 1987-1989
1. The Living Daylights
2. Licence To Kill

- "Ok, Licence to Kill is way better. From the ruthless Sanchez, to the drug addict Dario, this movie is what Dalton will be remebered for. Besides the AIDS and drugs and Cold War mind you" - GeorgeLazenby

- ''You know, I think Dalton gets a rough rap. I mean, he kept the image of Bond alive when no one wanted to be Bond. Dalton should be more accepted." - Cedric(006)

-''If I Was Dalton I Wouldn't Play Bond At That Time Because Of The Cold War Almost Over And Aids Where Around So Tim Has Some Balls Playing Bond''-

-"got the style, shows the darker side of bond and shows him well making him one of the best bonds. I wish he could have played more than just two bond movies"-jamesbond2

I don't what it is about Dalton that gave a certain elegance and style to the character of Bond...the only thing I can come up with is that he took the bond role seriously by using close readings of the Fleming novels to find the soul of the character...that couple with the panache that the 80's had and so sorely is lacking today made both his films stand out and his perforance memorable.....
