The first broadcast of the BBC Radio 4 James Bond series starring Toby Stephens as 007, this 90 minute long 2008 radio play version of the Dr. No novel was commissioned for the 100th anniversary of Ian Fleming and has been dramatized by Hugh Whitemore, produced by Rosalind Ayres and directed by Martin Jarvis, with an original music by Mark Holden and Sam Barbour.


Synopsis:

  • Bond is sent to investigate a strange disappearance in Jamaica, and discovers that the heart of the mystery lies with a sinister recluse known as 'Dr. No'.
