Calling all James Bond Wiki members!

Enter License to Kill's most recent contest, Create Your Bond Masterpiece, where you get the opportunity to show off your wiki editing prowess and creativity by creating, expanding, or revising content for LTK.

Here's how it works...

  • To participate in the contest, you must register by filling out the contest entry form.

  • Make sure you read through the contest rules.

  • The contest runs from July 1st through August 1st. Contest submissions after August 1st will not be considered.

  • The moderator team will select the winning entry and announce the winner on August 8th.

  • The winner will be featured on the License to Kill homepage and of course, will have ultimate bragging rights as one of the top James Bond contributors!

Create your Bond Masterpiece! - James Bond Wiki


There are two types of entries:

  1. Original Content: Its all up to you! Design a new page with fresh content, pics, videos, and more! Feel free to create new pages or add extensively to existing pages. Make sure that the content you select doesn't already appear on the wiki.

  2. Revised Content: Here's your opportunity to revise content that's already on the wiki. Do you see a section that's plagued with grammatical errors or perhaps a section that's overly wordy? Is there a section where the formatting doesn't match the formatting in similar sections? For these pages, feel free to edit or reformat.
Judging Criteria:
  1. Extent: The winning entry will be an extensive contribution to the content on the community. While single-page entries will be considered, the total number of QUALITY pages submitted will be reflected in the scoring. Your final score in this category will be based on all of the pages you submit.

  2. Writing/Editing: The winning entry will be free from grammatical, word choice, and spelling errors. The overall structure of the writing will be logically organized.

  3. Design: The winning entry will closely follow the formatting guidelines outlined on the advanced formatting page. It will be consistent with the formatting of other pages in the same section. Extra consideration will be given to entries who create innovative designs while maintaining the overall formatting template of the wiki.

  4. Significance: The winning entry will be a significant contribution to the community. Original work will be scored higher than work that simply collects information from the web and pulls it into the page. Creating a list of James Bond reference books will score lower than a page that offers an analysis of a particular Bond director's legacy.

Bit of a sticky situation		A few notes to help you as you create your masterpiece...

  • Visit the Advanced Formatting page to get an overview of some of the formatting techniques that will give your content the visual edge you'll need to win the contest.

  • Visit Wetpaint Central for basic formatting help

  • Remember to contact a moderator after you've finished your work so they can lock the page.

  • ABSOLUTELY no vandalism may be done to another competitors page.

  • Do not copy/paste content from another Bond website. Plagiarized content will not be considered. Use other Bond websites as resources, but add your own interpretation and style to the content.

  • If you're having trouble developing an idea for the contest but would like to participate, contact one of the moderators and we will be happy to help you come up with a content area that needs attention.

Suggestions:

Here are a couple suggestions for appropriate entries. Feel free to use these, but make sure you check the contestant page to see if someone else has already started a similar project. Also, a great place to start developing your idea is on the To-Dos page.

  1. Director's Section: You could help to complete this section. We're missing information on a few of the directors.

  2. Theme Songs: This page has plenty of information on it, but the information is organized poorly. It might be better to organize the songs by film.

  3. Bond Villains and Girls: There are a lot of people who are missing pages here. The main pages are fine, but we need to get some of the individual pages filled out.

  4. Bond Novels: We have a few of these pages completed but there are many more that need attention.

  5. Other Vehicles Page: This page could use a touch-up. There's plenty of content, but the alignment is different from the other pages in the vehicles section.

  6. Quantum Page: This page looks pretty bad. Now that we have a lot of the character images already on the wiki, it shouldn't be too difficult to come up with some better content.

  7. Bloopers: This page looks horrible. Some of the films don't have pictures. The text is all smashed together. Here's a great candidate for a reformatting.

no i thing daniel craig is best bond as his personality is good ,nice muscles , good looks all this makes him bond & as to pierce brosnan he just have personality ,he has no muscles , he is just ok in looks . i think having muscles is also part of being bond as he's fighting to enemys.. so i thing craig is BEST

daniel craig is a very cold personality and he depends on his muscles not his character we wish that pierce brosnan comes back as james bond in a new bond film in russia mother land of communists as an great (OO) AGENT. BUT THE IDEA OF THE FILM IN THE RED SQUARE IS PERFECT
