"Diamonds are Forever" is a true sequel, it starts with Bond killing Blofeld (an double) in revenge for Blofeld killing his wife at the end of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".

If this series is a reboot, will Bond 22 be Live and Let Die or will they use a different title?

With MILF mania and the interest in older women at its peak, why not take a real risk --- other than no gadgets, Q, or Moneypenny ---and give Bond a challenge: an attractive older woman? I'm not talking about 'M's stodgy, fussiness. I mean a 40 something with Redbook, newsanchor looks (like Ashleigh Banfield or Meredith Vierra), but armed with that tough-as-nails tenacity. If there's one aspect of the Bond genre that I tire of is the twenty-something cheesecake set: overinflated (not just in the obvious way) but also by masculine job titles that supposedly liberate them from Bond bimbo status. The perfect examples are Denise Richards, Rosamund Pike, and Eva Green. Give me more Pussy . . . Galore (that is) and Jill St. James and Famke Jansen. Rugged, tested beauty and brains that matches Bond's machismo. Even Daniel Craig admitted in an interview that he would like to have Jane Seymour as his "love interest" in Bond 22. Me too.

Women do Bond best . . . lyrics, I mean. The Bond producers should DEFINITELY return to a female singer for the Bond themes, as women (whether it's Shirley Bassey, Sheena Easton, Gladys Knight or Sheryl Crow) seem to present the most striking, sexy, and memorable renditions. Maybe because the franchise is so macho-driven that a woman singing the theme song is something of a few minutes refreshing departure. I'd personally love to see Lisa Stansfield do a jazzy, sultry Bond entry. It's amazing that Stansfield (one of the divas of the modern British 70s soul revival) hasn't gotten a whiff of the Bond franchise. Stansfield's singing set to one of those classic credits roll over fluorescent female forms would be a dazzling way to rev-up Bond 22.

Anyone know any dish on the new Bond? New story? Re-mining an old one. At least Craig is back. ; )
