I will watch the Bond movies as long as M is played by Judi Dench she makes the M very powerful even though you do not see her much, you always know she is there somewhere lurking in the background.

"Diamonds are Forever" is a true sequel, it starts with Bond killing Blofeld (an double) in revenge for Blofeld killing his wife at the end of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".
