The New (and imporved) James Bond Tournament
i moved the tourney back to the fan portal section. not really sure if it belongs there, but I don't think that it fits under the homepage. If we have the tourney there, then shouldn't we have the other polls there too (best bond, best villain, best girl, best girl name, best gadget, best car, etc.) We have polls for all these things, and it doesn't make sense to me why the tourney should be given presidence (even though it kicks much more ass than those other polls). It might make more sense under the films page when it comes down to it. I think that we have to be really careful about what we list under the homepage or else we're going to be getting lots of questions like "why can't this or that page be under the homepage". the homepage should be reserved for macro-categories.
With that being said, if we end up with a number of different tourneys (bond girls, bond villains, etc.) then I think that would warrant moving the whole "James Bond Tournaments" as a category to a position under the homepage. If yall plan to make other tournaments, then let me know and I'll hook us up with a "Bond Tournament Portal" page that we can list under the homepage. If you don't plan on making any more tournaments, then I'd rather it not be listed under the homepage.

Best Bond Ever?
"Goldfinger is oft hailed as the best Bond film of all time. From OddJob and Pussy Galore to the laser scene and countless quotes most agree it's a very balanced film from end-to-end. What do you think? Does Daniel Craig's Casino Royale take the mantle?" For the longest time Goldfinger was hands-down my favorite. It did have everything, and more than any other film, it defined the series.
But From Russia With Love has recently crept up to the top of my list. It's one of the tightest and most focused entries in the series, and one of the least "indulgent" (Gypsy catfight aside). The pacing, the characters, the way the plot carefully unfolds... all masterfully done. The patience of Grant as he shadows Bond throughout the film, the delightfully sinister meetings with Blofeld, Klebb, and Kronsteen (and of, course, the cat), the cruelty of Grant's taunting of Bond during their final confrontation, and of course the brutal, frenzied, claustrophobic struggle that follows.
The gadgetry is contained, the set pieces fantastic (how about that chess tournament set?), and best of all, the complexities and intricacies of the plot aren't dumbed down -- it respects the intelligence of the audience.
Plus, the train. There's something about spies playing cat and mouse on a train (see also North by Northwest) that just works.

I do hope all the "Special" Agents will vote for me, Fiona Volpe...
In the Bond Girls Tournament. I never said I would play fair. If I have to convince you for your vote, meet me at the Kiss Kiss Club....
“Fiona Volpe: Do you like wild things Mr. Bond, James Bond? (Fiona bites him on the shoulder}
James Bond: Wild? You should be locked up in a cage. (He starts kissing her on the lips and neck)
Fiona:(putting fingers on bed) Mmm... this bed feels like a cage, all these bars. Do you think I'll be... (moans) safe?”
