Who he is:

• former "00" agent (006), Trevelyan staged his own death and started the "Janus" criminal syndicate. The son of a Lienz Cossack, a group of Russians betrayed by the British after WWII who were executed by Stalin.

Attempted methods of killing Bond:

• Tying up in a helicopter and launching the helicopters missles at 007 (Bond escapes by pressing the ejector seat button).
• In the climax of the film he tries to push 007 off the small little platform where 007 and Alec duke it out.

How he is dispatched:

• Bond pushes him off a platform at the end of the movie and he falls to the bottom of the antenna dish and coughs up blood, then he is crushed to death by the exploding platform.

Evil scheme:

• Use the Russian Goldeneye orbiting "nuclear pulse" generator to disrupt banking computers and steal many millions of dollars from the British economy electronically while erasing all record of the event at the same time.
