The initial mold for Bond, James Bond was made around a sound actor whose many roles across the years will probably prove him the best in each category in the likes of Clark Gable and Spencer Tracy. In the same manner, Timothy Dalton's role as Oliver Seccombe in James A. Michener's tome/miniseries, "Centennial," was his best to date. ..and how can Roger Moore be both a Bond and The Saint both? The others in my view just have to find a best life role and not try to copy the Master 'Bond, James Bond' Sean Connery who showed his metal/mettle early on in his role in "The Longest Day."
