IMO, some real world type criminals are good and for other times fictitious type criminals, i.e. Blofeld, are needed to shake things up; but not stir them.
MGW and BB need to resurrect Ernst Stavro Blofeld. They wanted to return to the franchises roots in Casino Royale. What better way to accomplish this then to bring back one of the best villains. One that is almost as immortal as Bond himself.

I've never been a fan of the drug-related plot lines. What is Bond a DEA agent.

Who are the evil ones who run Quantum? Worldwide. Unknown. SPECTRE SMERSH could look like the villians in a Scooby Doo film compared to the posibilities that a good sreenwriter could gleen for a 21st century psycopathic group of killers, the roundtable of the leaders of Quantum.

Last weeks reports of Bond #23 going from "postponed" to "cancelled" have apparently been called rumors, according to Deadline. The next Bond movie is not axed completely but still just being held up and an insider has said that the movie will resume development once MGM sorts out it's cash crisis.
More importantly, Daniel Craig and also Director Sam Mendez - who was signed on to helm the film - remain committed and will wait until production can resume. I will accept this as good news (maybe I'm getting my hopes up). As long as they keep developing their next idea then the delay might allow for more polish and we'll get a kick-ass Bond film.

I have to say, i'm pretty worried about Bond 23. With it being suspended for a while now, i'm starting to worry. I don't worry about things much, but there's a 50/50 chance that the movie would just be cancelled and the series would end. But I really hope they can all find a solution and finish the movie SOON. I have waited too long for another Bond film since Quantum of Solace, because the Bond films usually do the whole every-two-years thing. I also want to see what you guys think of the delay.

I really hope the next Bond movie has a real strong villianious. A woman that has the same intelligence and power as James Bond and one can charm him as much as he charms other Bond girls. I also hope that actress Olga Kulylenko returns as Camille to help Bond stop the evil villanious from ruling the world, just please don't kill her off. She should definitely appear at the films climax where Bond finds out this Villianious isn't who he thinks she is and the roles should reverse into where Camille has to save Bonds life, as he's always saving or rescuing Bond girls from their doom. I also want Kurylenko to return because we never see other Bond girls reappear in later movies and I think audience would definitely love to see her reappear because she kicked some major butt in the last film. I hope they also introduce Q branch along with Moneypenny in the film. I would love for M to also have more of an importance to the next film too if the next film is indeed called The Property of A Lady because her job and life would be in stake as well.

There's been quite a bit of talk/news/rumours regarding the next Bond film on the net lately. Recently I've heard that Rachel Weisz is being considered to play the head of QUANTUM and be the main villain. Also it has been said that the next film will be Judi Dench's last 007 film as M, and in that same story it was reported that the working title of the first draft is "The Property Of A Lady", with QUANTUM having already secretly taken over the world and Weisz is the one pulling the strings.
NOTE: None of this is confirmed to be true (that I know of) so DON'T take this as fact. But I think it sounds pretty awesome. A female head villain would be nice and Weisz could pull it off for sure. Bit of a shame about Judi but oh well - I'm sure she'll give it her all just like always. What do y'all think? Would this make a good Bond #23? I certainly think so.

Yes, the director of American Beauty, Revolutionary Road, and Road to Perdition is set to direct Bond 23. I think he could be a good choice as he has been proven to work well with thrillers and dramas, especially with character development. Plus, he has already worked with Craig in Road to perdition. I am a bit skeptical, though, as Marc Forster had a similar resume and didn't really do that well directing QoS (IMO). But hey, who knows? What do you guys think?

I've just heard rumors that Rachel Weisz is being considered to play the head villain in Bond #23. Perhaps she will be the head of QUANTUM, or just an evil woman with her own agenda and plan...
Either way I think it's a fantastic idea, would be cool to have a female head villain for a change and I'm sure she could pull it off... What do y'all think?

I want to make you all aware of a member of another website who is trying to plant rumors of B23 casting in order to prove how people fall for them.
This was passed onto me. Cinemablend didn't fall for it neither should anyone else. Ill refrain from posting the member's screen name. I don't have to tell you that anyone posing as so and so & knowing this and that, is something that can happen frequently on the Internet but again, being Internet savvy is at each surfers own risk Unless it's affirmed by Eon/Sony, take everything with a pinch of salt. If anyone posing as an employee of EoN pops up, please inform the moderators of the relevant site.

I think the next Bond film should be named "Permission to Die" based off of the comic books written and illustrated by "Mike Grell". This was a short but cunning stand-alone comic series. Or they could do a film off of the games like "Everything or Nothing" or "Nightfire"! These were some of the games that I liked best playing. Or they could once-again dredge up another few titles from Fleming's back catalog. Ones like "Clandestine-Supernova" or "The Hildebrand Rarity" or that other stupid title "Property of A Lady". Can't all of the Bond titles sound cool? Can't they all be about disarming nuclear arsenals in some underground base headed by some feble-minded-fool? Please comment and subscribe to my means!

Okay, before I get a million responses with the comment "but they already have", no, what Chubby made was "James Bond - You Only Live Twice". I am thinking about a James Bond movie that was, shockingly, actually based on the Ian Fleming novel, "You Only Live Twice".
It won't involve space based weapon systems or lasers, just a James Bond based on, a James Bond novel. There can be a woman in the movie named Gala Brand and Bond can actually play Chemin der Fer with "La Vie en Rose" playing in the background. Maybe I am being too radical - what say you?

Why is everyone calling the Next Bond Movie "Bond 23"? Has everyone forgotten about 1983 Sean Connery Never Say Never Again? Sure I checked this site and it is on Sean Connery's page, but it is not in chronological order with the other 22 Bond Movies that I happen to own making it Number 23, not in chronological order. How can anyone forget about Kim Basinger or shall we say Domino Petachi. I came onto this Bond site with high expectations and was very let down with this discovery on the very first screen.
