I've never been a fan of the drug-related plot lines. What is Bond a DEA agent.

Sir Anthony Hopkins would be a perfect Blofeld. But about Afghanistan... I have doubts. why not to combine Afghanistan and any luxurious Arab emirate In Persian Gulf?. It´s quite evident that the key of Afghanistan is not in Afghanistan.

I think this would be very appropiate for Chubby and his heirs to make a Bond movie based on the Bond comics strip "League of Vampyres". With the tween "Twilight" series and the popularity of HBO's "Trueblood" in HM former colonies, and I believe there is a new vampyre series coming to the US in a matter of weeks.
As always, don't judge a story by its title, but I would not be surprised if the producers go this route.

Nice to see Daniel out signing autographs with the fans. And more importantly, preliminary word of the start date. I'm sure the PR folks loved him dropping that bomb.

They better have Q and Moneypenny! I also wish they'd annouce the new Bond girl and Villain. I'd LOVE to have Michelle Forbes playing a bad girl. If anyone's seen her in True Blood or Durham County, you'll know what I'm talkin about. I'd love to see Cate Blanchett as Moneypenny! Oh, and Jim Broadbent as Q!!

You should read "Dr No" and she's even better in the novel.

Should they make a Bond movie based on "You only live Twice" ?

Okay, before I get a million responses with the comment "but they already have", no, what Chubby made was "James Bond - You Only Live Twice". I am thinking about a James Bond movie that was, shockingly, actually based on the Ian Fleming novel, "You Only Live Twice".
It won't involve space based weapon systems or lasers, just a James Bond based on, a James Bond novel.
There can be a woman in the movie named Gala Brand and Bond can actually play Chemin der Fer with "La Vie en Rose" playing in the background.
Maybe I am being too radical - what say you?

Sheen intrigued me in the role. I hope the blofeld rumors themselves are true. I'm ready for a bit of throw-back in the Craig era. If not Blofeld, can we at least get a little Q or Moneypenny?

I'm sure he could've done a good job, but to be honest I'd rather see Tim Curry or Alan Rickman as Blofeld. There's also the fact that EON no longer has the rights to SPECTRE or Blofeld since Kevin Mclory struck in the 70s and claimed ownership of both.

Mlle. Bella Figura Broccoli,
With all my respect and My appreciation for your extensive career. I wish to make a suggestion for a New James Bond. His name is Gregg Avedon. He appeared over 10 times on Men's Magazine as well as commercials and being a model. He has some exposure to a Movie set. Note that I am not and Agent, I am simply a Great admire of James Bond 007 & Mr. Avedon 007 in real Life.
Thank you for your Time et Merci!

Should Sir John Barry come back and do one final 007 soundtrack with his 'patented' touch? And give Mr.Arnold a one picture rest? Justa thought 007 fans.

I think the next Bond film should be named "Permission to Die" based off of the comic books written and illustrated by "Mike Grell". This was a short but cunning stand-alone comic series. Or they could do a film off of the games like "Everything or Nothing" or "Nightfire"! These were some of the games that I liked best playing. Or they could once-again dredge up another few titles from Fleming's back catalog. Ones like "Clandestine-Supernova" or "The Hildebrand Rarity" or that other stupid title "Property of A Lady". Can't all of the Bond titles sound cool? Can't they all be about disarming nuclear arsenals in some underground base headed by some feble-minded-fool? Please comment and subscribe to my means!

"Yeah, I really loved the comics, the illustrations were so...so detailed and formatted in a way in which, it actually looked like any normal person, I can't explain it...but andybody can draw a face, but only a true artist can make it look real!" You'll note how Grell went with Fleming's original idea that Bond resembled Hoagy Carmichael.

I would to see Heath Ledger be the next villain. Sadly that is not to be...ever! And for the love God, NOT Mickey Rourke! My 2nd choice would have to be Djimon Hounson (Blood Diamond, Gladitor)

" I think it would be interesting to have one of the old Bonds be a villain - they all have the skill to twist their persona - so why not?" why not just have them play bond if you're bringing them back?
