I first experienced James Bond when I was about 8 years old when I saw The World is not Enough on TV. I immediately loved it. After I finished it, I wanted more. I found out that we owned all of them on DVD and within less than a month I had watched them all, Dr. No- The World is not Enough. Then Die Another Dayhit theaters and I went to see it. Although I now know its definitely not the best Bond film, I loved the experience. This is probably why I like Pierce the best as he was the actor I was introduced to Bond with and the first I saw in theaters. Since then I've been a huge fan of the franchise. In 2003, I went up to Detroit to the Henry Ford Museum to see the Bond. James Bond Exhibit. It was really cool. They had loads of props like Oddjob's hat, the Golden Gun, etc. and sketches and costumes, and they even had Bond, Zao, and Jinx's cars there from the movie. If I can ever find the pictures from it I'll put them up Since Die Another Day I've seen all the movies that hit the big screen, bringing my total to 3. I've read the first seven books, Casino Royale being my favorite so far.
Films: Best to Worst (middle ones will probably change) Novels and Short Stories: Best to Worst
1. M's chat with Bond in Venice by the canal in Moonraker. 2. Bond rides the motorcycle off the cliff, jumps off, and gets in the plane in GoldenEye 3. Bond is strapped down with the laser about to kill him, Bond - "You expect me to talk, Goldfinger?" Goldfinger - "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!" 4. The ski jump in The Spy Who Loved Me 5. The pre-title sequence in Thunderball. Bond knows the girl is a guy just because he opens the door for himself, then kicks his ass. 6. Fiona Volpe gets shot while she's dancing with Bond. Bond takes her over to a table and says, "Do you mind if my friend sits this one out? She's just dead." 7. Tank chase in Goldeneye

SA H Despite Moonraker being my least favorite film, this is my favorite Bond moment. It shows that M, despite his authority level, considers himself Bond's equal. "No slip ups, Bond. Or we'll both be in trouble". Oh my god....
i, too, am a huge fan of the CR book (as well as the movie adaptation). i think that it captured everything that bond really is, everything that we expect him to be.
